'08 has a better set of guts. Electronics are much more refined, and the circuit board is protected, whereas the '07 isn't.
'08's with burst have the ability to squeeze off just one round if you tap the trigger fast enough, as opposed to the '07's that would fire off a full burst with one pull.
'08s have shorter trigger pulls too. Feels a bit nicer..
