Lokisama put a ton of effort into that build and it looked great up close.
It takes a lot of guts to build a pistol, show up at a competition and go up against 15+ other shooters in a timed and scored event. 18 shots, 4 no-shoot targets, a swinging target behind 2 of the no-shoots and 3 different positions...tough course. You get 1 try at it and to attempt it with 3 x 7rnd mags...
I know for a fact that the Range Officers were right pricks and picking on every little detail...
There were prizes on the line and the entry fee wasn't the cost of a burger and fries...so even some of the guys who have been around for years had their bout of nerves.
What really impressed me was how he took the malfunctions in stride and got down to business about how to fix it and make it and his own shooting better (with pros like Illusion and MadMax on hand, only a fool wouldn't use the opportunity to get their take on things). He didn't bitch, whine or sulk...sucked it up, approached it in a constructive way and moved on.
