I'd save 3k.
Research gear set-ups, and talk to people who've "been there, and done that". You may find that that REALLY cool looking setup is a major hindrance on your performance.
Research your gun's internals. Find out if there are aftermarket parts for it, incase something breaks. Also look for a gun that's FULL METAL, as metal bodies are pretty scarce these days.
OH and..... Keep your mouth shut, and ears open.
