I don't see why made such a big deal doing practical pistol type thing in airsoft. Yes it is legal to own pistol in Canada, but it is not anything nearly as available as in US(which is pretty much the only country where it is widely available and accessible). You can join military and fight wars for real, why play milsim? Doing IPSC in airsoft as said are also a lot easier as you can do it anywhere that you can have enough room to setup a course, as opposed to actually in a gun range. Besides Airsoft IPSC and real steel IPSC are not mutually exclusive, and technique and skills are transferable.....
