Can I hear some other examples of what you did before you could actually play in an airsoft event? Or were you mainly 18 years old when you became interested?

In HK my friends Cousin was my chaperone (not that people cared back then) and I got to play.

I'm sure that if someone responsible who was 18+ was to do the same for you in Canada you could play in some games. Provided you're not an asshat i'm sure people would let you try their weapons in a non combat setting.
