Lets put it this way, sniping is airsoft is diffrent becase:

Your not firing a real bullet.
The physics do not work exactly the same.
Long distance is something thats slightly debatable.
Yes seem like it would be fun indeed. Sniping in airsoft is not like counter strike or battlefield 2. If your good at sneaking you'll spend more time doing recon than shooting. Sometimes you'll take on harrasment tasks.

Have you ever played an airsoft game yet? No offense to some of the people who enjoy the airsoft sniping role out there. But from the times I have participate or done it myself I have litterally been so bored that I wanted to kill myself. Ive spent hours sitting in the bushes and setting up booby traps without seeing a single opfor.
