When you meet an airsofter in person, generally you're screwed if you make a bad impression. I'm a pretty reasonable person, and there's a couple (not man) teenagers I wouldn't mind letting them try my gun. There's also a few over 18 that I wouldn't want them to even look at my gun lest their stupidity and ignorance scare my gun into not working. Sadly I live with one of those tools, which is the second big reason I keep my gun across town at my buddy's instead of here at home.
Some people are just irresponsible idiots.

Had I lost my temper, that gun would've ended up in his face. Not pointing at, but inside. Even with a clearsoft Crappy Tire special handgun, getting shot in the toe without shoes from only 6' away isn't a pleasant feeling.
