Could be the spring in the G&G is rather stiff and since it requires more power from the battery............... and possibly the M4 has a softer spring..........
My point, regardless of the velocity, some brands of springs are stiffer than others, requiring more power to compress it. Example, a Madbull spring is stiffer than a Modify spring, even though both might be in the same area for velocity.
You also are using a rather small mAh battery, should get a 3800mAh or so for those guns. Yo uare using something that could be considered a large mini battery, and will have limited indurance (as you are finding).
