I'm just wondering, if you're already going to go through the expense of an aftermarket metal body, would it not end up costing you less to buy a TM and fitting the metal body and a wood kit on it? The steel and wood CA SLRs seem to be quite a bit more expensive than the TMs (~$900 vs $600 formerly from A&A, if I recall correctly).
Buying second hand would obviously make a big difference.
