Like Stalker said, the front element (lense) of the scope is strong enough to resist most, if not all BB hits.
If you are that fearfull of it getting it, use a sube extender. It's a long shader tube that screw at the front of your scope. It will diminish the angle needed for a bb to hit your front element. The drawback is that you will loose a little light in your scope image, but that's not going to be a problem for day games.
