The battery i used was for an e-flite blade CP helicopter. This is basically the smallest 7.4 800mah battery i could find, although it doesn't have insane discharge rates of other ones but it works. Not sure if it'll fit in an AEP but it fits with a buncha room to spare in a MP7. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=EFLB0990

I highly recommend a smart charger with built in balancer since they're a bit cheaper than seperate components and are actually quite new. If i was to buy a charger it would probably be a bantam bc-6 since you can just plug AC power to it or perhaps a thunder power 610c.
