will these guns shoot a lot harder then that crappy crossman i have. the thing wont even shoot through a peace of carboard lol. it stings a little when i get shot with the crossman but if i was wearing a sweater i prolly would not feel it. do these thigns give yea a good welt or what if i were to go with something like this

the gun i bought claims to shoot up to 400fps which i doubt these ones say they only shoot 280 whats up with that. isnt it the more fps the farther and faster and more it hurts?
