Ive had my Spectre sling fail before and had my A&K M249 Para dropped on the concrete floor of the local CQB field, and its doing just fine... Never tested it on dirt, mud, sand or water, just banging it around a bunch. Oh and I hit a 50 gallon drum with it on accident while hauling ass once. Its fine. A few scratches, of course, but no cracks I can see.

I mean yes, its not as good as CA, but cmon. Its a lot better than STAR or Top...
