I've got an A&K 249 para as well.
All in all, it's a sturdy construction much like the CA - at only a fraction of the price.
It chronos steady around 476fps using a Guarder SP140 spring and Systema Super Torque Up Helical gears.
I also changed the barrel (precision instead), hop-up unit (bad feeding and inconsistent shots) and hop-up rubber.
I'm running the setup on a 14,4V battery, so the ROF is quite high.
