CA Armalite bodies are only help on by the front pin. The rear pin only holds the mechbox in.
It's the same setup on my C8 metal body on my TM M4, and I have a tiny space along that same line as well and the shiny mechbox metal shows up a bit upon close inspection. However, there's no wobble at all on mine.
And the fit is perfect on my M15. I had the upper receiver off on the weekend, and it went back on perfectly.
