On my VFC SCAR there's no set screw on the flash hider, it just spins off.

Im unable to compare the internals of the VFC to the JG at this time but esthetically on the outside, it appears that the trades on the VFC are better, the front sights are diffrent, where on the VFC it is on the rail and on the JG it is on the barrel. Also the VFC appears to have the HK logo on the ejector port bolt cover where as JG's is blank, and of course the obvious wiring diffrences in both guns, were one is front end and JG is rear.
