Okay. If I were to pick one of the two, here's how I'd do it.

1) Look at both, in person. So far I have seen a TM: they are really nice pieces.

2) After seeing both, start looking at details (build, materials, looks, weight, quality of finish, internal parts).

3) Decide if I (or my wallet) can live with the difference and also decide if I can fix/upgrade what I dont like.

Only after that do I ever make an opinion, unless I do a ton of research first. Sometimes I've had no choice but to do research, like when I got my King Arms Dragunov (not as if I could look at many). But so far these few tricks have served me very well.
