I used a dremme but mostly two long files, one round and another about 3/4" wide. I did a G3 stock but since you dont have any mounts or holes in your stock you should be able to have a nice looking stock for a large battery without much trouble. If you are careful it might take you more 5 hours. The only trick spot might be where the stock end cap connects and where the stock connects to the gun. FYI, you should be able to fit at least a 10.8v if you wanted and used a custom battery.
