Tanio Koba presented their GBB C8 replica at COOL Style TOY 2.0 (Japanese toy gun related fair). Basically, users have had opportunity to test fire the gun (there were slight problems with full auto) and were generally full of praises (if text on taniokoba.co.jp is believed). Anyhow, prototype can be seen below. At least it is aesthetically pleasing, hopefully they will iron out the problems. Click to supersize.
