You don't need any of those things, like you already pointed out. Generally speaking, if you're not sure if an upgrade will work, you shouldn't be doing it. If you have 3 grand you'd like to drop, I'd honestly suggest you get a second gun so you won't have to share. Or invest in some T-bills.
The only things you could get that might be remotely useful at this point in time are some spare mags and perhaps a red dot sight. I've been following the sport since '97 and playing for almost as long, and even I wouldn't buy those internals for my own gun let alone recommend it for someone else.
