If the groupings arnt that good with a paticular gun im sure hop,barrel wobble,different shoulder possition,muscle memory and the lack of a tight bore would have more of an effect on accuracy than FPS.

I would say fps comes more into play when playing outdoors or in wooded areas. Higher fps + heavier weight bb will give you better accuracy depending on your surroundings, over a stock gun using .20.
