TM G36C to G36

SO, I have the TM G36C. I've had thoughts about swapping the various parts and turning it into a full-length G36. However, since I have an incredible attention to detail, I'd never go ahead with replacing the foregrip and barrels but leaving the short gas tube/block as it is; I'd also want to lengthen that as well.

Now, I've found some one-piece barrels at WGC, but they're around the $220 mark without shipping and that crap, so I'd rather not go down that road just yet.

So basically, what I want to know is if anyone knows of a cheaper solution to my problem? What I was thinking of was maybe a STAR or CA G36 gas tube/block could be swapped with the one on TM's G36C, but I don't know. Perhaps G36 gas blocks of different lengths can actually be bought from certain stores/sites? I don't know, so if anyone's done this before, or has anything useful to contribute, please do!

Thanks all!
