Guys can argue over real vs. clone, but when my clone-equipped PTW tags a guy at 300+ feet, real makes absolutely no difference. Funny thing is, I've done that to guys with the real EoTech, when their gun fell 100 feet short of me.
The gun means everything. What you put on it means nothing as long as it doesn't intefere with the operation or structural integrity of the gun.
Use a clone if you want. The real one doesn't perform any better on an airsoft gun.

After a long, hard think and discussions with my friends, I've decided I'll get a 512 clone too. It's a shame there's no M500A clone that'll fit though, so I still gotta shell out $350 to get one.
