does it sound like the motor is trying real hard to complete the cycle? If so even though u said its a full battery, try another battery thats stronger.
If thats not the case, try shooting it without the spring to see if it does the full cycle, or check to see if your shims are not holding the gears so tight that it actually causes the gun to seige after so much power.
this problem is either because there is no battery juice or the gears are to tight to move.
