If it works ok, or seems to, then electrical problem should not be it.
Check if there is some oxidation or grease on the trigger contacts. That also can be the cause of your miss fire.

1: No, I remove the motor plate, pull the motor, and try it quick, and nothing, no current. For some reason the jam restricts all current through the gun.
2: I can try that after I unjam it again.. but each time I press it once I dont even have the top in the gun, just the bottom of the body.
3. First thing I did was look over all electrical contacts, they are clean.
