It's not so much the microswitch contacts (there was some carbonization that I filed off on one of the contacts from arching) on the CA M249 I'm working on, it's the damn arm the trigger stud presses. It has to be bent in such a way that the trigger can press it down enough to make the switch close, but also has to be bent in such a way that the end of the switch arm doesn't come close to the spinning sector gear (it has in the past, caught the gear and fucked the arm up). Add in this arm (the third replacement) is starting to weaken............ it'll work for a few trigger pulls, then start to bend in such a way that it doesn't make contact anymore. Sorry for the convoluted description, I'm working on my second coffee. :smack:
