I had a G36K, and its a great starter gun, it IS really comfortable, and CA can actually make decent fibreglass (or glass fiber as they insist on calling it)
but i had it slung on my back and my shovel scratched up the body, so that was the last plastic gun i ever bought lol
the other thing is the magazines....worst...mags....EVER, they're bulky, they catch on everything, you need special pouches to hold them, and the tabs break off, its the biggest 30 round 5.56 mag out there, I'd pick an armalite over a G36 simply because you can fit atleast 3 M16 mags in a double G36 pouch

If I hadn't already spent over $100 on mags, I would consider converting to VN M16 mags when I do the SL-9 conversion... unfortunetly that would be a lot of money waisted on G36 mags.
