I took a closer look at the hirose adapter connector. I don't know if this is proprietary (the actual male/female parts look like the stuff that I found on the web), but the way they connect could've been better. When you plug the adapter into the end of the headset, it clicks into place (it only goes on one way). When it is together, there is some play between the 2 parts (slight wobble). It could've been one where you connect the 2 parts and then turn the parts against each other to lock them together. If your running around in the field and snag the cord against something hard enough, I am guessing that it could just rip apart the hirose connection. If you can, stick the connection into the radio pouch to protect it.
I finally found some service manuals with schematics for the Motorola MX series, but they are really technical and they don't show anything for the speaker mic. I doubt that they would have any diagrams that you need to see, but let me know if you want to look at them. They are PDF's that I can email to you or give you the link to them. The speaker mic that I have is model # NMN6125A. I doubt that I would find anything for the DEVGRU adapter wiring. I'll keep looking....
