It's actually cheaper, easier and more reliable to buy a FET switch premade. I've only been working with electronics for 15 years, but I may be wrong. You can buy them from under $40 U.S., vs $40+ for just the parts, your time and your result will be fugly and be unreliable, unless you're an electronics and fabrication god.
