I am the proud owner of an A.I.C.S. now (FINALLY!)!!!!

Booya!

I love this thing. It feels so... it IS so... sublime. It feels like everything I'd dreamed it to be. I love it. It's hefty. It's solid. And the power is incredible!

I haven't tested it at range yet, so I don't know what its trajectory pattern is, but I have done chrony testing.

I bought this gun used... when I got it, the PCS bolt was opened up beyond the maximum recommended limit (as per the Tanaka manual.) I chronied it at that point using propane and 0.20g S II BBs and I hit a high of 625fps.

Consistency was pretty good.

I then adjusted the bolt to the minimum and was shooting a low of 275fps.

From what I've been reading across the net, maximum FPS is actually achieved at about 75% of maximum.

I have a whole wack of G&G and KM upgrade parts that I can't wait to install in here to beef up the performance. Not looking for velocity boosts... just better consistency and stability.

What are you using for your sling hooks?

Anyone know if these will work?

Also, does anybody have any difficulty in adjusting the PCS? I find it so difficult to turn the adjustment knob that I have to disassemble the bolt in to each of its individual components and inserting a screw in to the bolt to adjust the PCS. I can't do it by hand from the outside.
