I hate making these posts because it means I have to discontinue inventory that I already carry and sometimes they sound like I'm slagging an otherwise fine airsoft supplier.
Truth is that I purchase a LOT of Guarder products and they're generally pretty good. Because I put so much of their stuff into the field (either myself or thru sales at ASCA) we get to capture most of their defects. There's a lot of defective airsoft junk out there that isn't Guarder and doesn't get caught (or perhaps screamed about) so I hope I don't let this alert reflect on Guarder's entire lineup.
We try to catch bad products and keep them out of our inventory, but it's hard to keep a hawk like watch on over 600 line items.
POLYCARB PISTON HEADS

Nice looking ventilated piston head with a machined brass insert for the screw to tap into. However polycarbonate has not shown itself to be sufficiently fatigue resistant for the repetitive hammering in a mechbox.
Colin_S has broken two piston heads in his M14 and P90. I have found that the piston material is not very impact resistant in tests at the shop.
M14 CYLINDER HEADS
http://www.intrudershop.com.tw/mmc/i...E-04-17-01.jpg
Shiny stainless steel cylinder head with double orings. Problem with them is the adhesive used to retain the rubber pad on the rear face is not strong enough. The rubber pads can come off and rotate so the eccentric bore doesn't match with the cylinder port which results in reduced fps.
I've attacked the rubber pads on other cylinder heads (M4 etc) and found them to have much better adhesive. They're well secured. I suspect the issue with the M14 cylinder is temporary since Guarders supplier appears to be quite able to manufacture similar cylinders with pads which stick.
