Peace: the reason the reps can not modify the rights to users directly is because they would have access to the entire user record. It also provides accountability so we can see who's verifying who.
Because of the large amount of names coming in verification can take a few days once it gets to me, if it's more then 2 weeks (some reps save them up and send them to me at once) then it may have been lost.
