Pistol recoil spring spacers/washers
Does anyone use these for their stock recoil springs? I just happened to find a pair of aluminum washers that were the exact diameter of my spring stoppers (or whatever you call the things that prevent your spring from shooting out) and with a pair of needle nose pliers and barely any work at all, I compressed my large spring in my KSC USP .45 by 3mm.
After a bit of test fires, I find that the slide cycles a lot harder than it used to, and my trusty USP no longer suffers from the "sluggish slide return" if you aim it upwards. In fact, it kicks quite a bit more too, I found that the blowback action was MUCH more crisp and I can barely see the slide move anymore!
Also, since the slide racks much more forcefully now, I get a sort of "ka-chink" noise even though it's plastic. Not bad IMO.
I still have about 5 more washers, I may add another one or two down the road until I get an actual upgrade spring kit for the gun.
Hope this was helpful in any way, and if this was a GBB no-no, for the love of god, tell me soon lol.
