I wouldint bother trying to dye it. Grab some OD paint and just spray on a few layers. That way you won't risk fucking it up if you dye it and once it fades it will blend with the tan and create its own sort of camo pattern because its never a complete covering. Or you could just buy the OD version if you don't have either yet. its really not worth the time/effort to dye it. Spray paint should work fine.
