Longer barrel = better accuracy, doesnt effect range at all, that is determined by muzzle velocity
I've heard from many sources that Ken at 007 is a really great guy, never bought from him myself, I go through ASCA almost exclusivly because I live in Ottawa so its usually overnight delivery because of his shipping method and only comming from Toronto instead of BC and he has the best prices for everything I've looked at so far.
