Well, HoJo said with CA, they can get directly from CA unlike TM which they have to go through other wholesalers in HK.

As we see on ASCA, CA M15 are roughly $500 or so, where it retails for roughly $310US (~$360CDN), so which is about a ~39% markup for customs, shipping, brokerage, etc.

CA Prices in the US is approx the same in HK, so $440US gun (~$488CDN) with 39% markup would be about $680. If we assume shipping, license fees, brokerage fees doesn't linearly scale with the cost, but rather a fixed cost per gun, it would make the retail cost of the gun cheaper.

Also, the $440 price tag in the US might only be high since there's a short supply, I wouldn't be surprised if the price got slashed once every US retailer has it in stock.

So the $600-700 might not be too bad of a guess.
