The hop up is a large single piece of soft rubber that wraps around the inner barrel. The hop up is created by a small metal bump that pushes down on the rubber and creates a small dent that hold the bb in place, as well as creates the back spin. When you turn the hop up dial it adjusts how hard the metal bump pushes on the rubber.

If the hop up is adjusted too low it can cause the rounds to fall past it, or if it is really oily the round can slip past.

Right now I am going to go get some dinner. When I come back to my pc I will snap some pics and show you how to get to the hop up rubber and make sure it’s all together properly.
