I can understand wanting to avoid plastic amalites, that's why I want to jam a metal body on the m4 s-system. I'm not concerned with how the plastic looks (I'll just dump that), but the comment that there's only one metal body that will work with the S-system (I dunno, maybe something to do with the long top rail).
I'm just wondering if anybody has ever put a metal body on one of these other than the ZEKE one mentioned in the quote.
