It's not the adaptor that chances the way the gun shoots, it's putting a long silencer on it that does. Not sure if a short silencer would be much different, but the gun shoots fine with the adaptor on, but I think that vorticies from the expanding gas exiting the muzzle behind the BB that is causing the screw ups. I would be interested to see the effect of different lengths and bore sizes of silencers would give the gun. I've only seen the one, was a trail of the SOCOM Mk23 silencer on it, and it had a large bore in it. Am sure a 7.62mm sized hole would work less well.
