Okay, so here's what you have to do.
Step one: hold firmly in your dominant hand.
Step two: reach your arm (the one holding the springer) as far back as you can.
Step three: face a big brick wall.
Step four: move your arm forward as rapidly as you can.
Step five (most important step): release grip.
