gen 1 and 2's can be exported from the U.S. without problem, however, gen 3's cannot. Its not that customs will stop them, its because legally, anyone in the U.S. is not allowed to export them. On the other hand, if you can find a seller willing to risk sending it, you should not have a problem. Thats how I got my Eotech 552. Technically I shouldnt have been allowed to get one, but if you find a seller willing to break federal law and ship it, well, go for it. Its illegal for them to sell it to you, but its not illegal for you to buy it.

Do you have any documentation to support your claim that someone cannot ship EOTech sights across the border? That dosen't seem to make sense to me...
