Buddy, I said I was responsible for Real Firearms at the Restricted and Prohibited level. By responsible, I mean Legally Responsible and Legally Allowed. I was also the person allowed to sign for people to get carry-permits.
What is illegal about what I do?
My question about what you asked exactly was to prove a point; the CFC has laws to follow, but then depends on the damned Policies to INTERPRET the laws as they see fit.
This guy's answer was following Policy, not laws. Had you said the part was an airsoft part, his answer (if he even knew his stuff) would have been different. What you interpret airsoft as is irrelevant. What the CFC and authorities interpret them as IS relevant.
Now 'interpret' what I said as you wish. If you want to believe that the (superbly efficient) CFC and others will 'interpret' with common-sense, your choice.
Fair enough? I pointed a risk to you, a risk that can bite seriously.
