manchovie, i wish it was a gr2. i was planning on doing a gr6 style gun but settled on just painting my g36k in the gr style. btw, the mp5 is just a cheapo uhc spring gun thats why there are screw holes and the handguard is all funky. i use it to test new paintjobs, the gun has been through at least four different schemes. the aimpoint costs as much as the gun its on. :smack:
harleyb, thats exactly what i thought when i peeled off all the masking. but when i was painting the idea was to get something multicamish with gradient changes in color.
wingzero, the paints i used were not optimal. the light green and gray are duplicolor primer coats. the tan black and o.d are krylon camo paint. im sure youd get a better effect if you used paints that actually match the multicam colors.
