I don't have any experience with the KWC so I'm not going to comment on it, but the TM DE will take propane as well as it will take duster. All of the problems that eventually happen with the gun will happen whether you're using propane or duster. It's merely a matter of prolonged wear, and using propane doesn't accelerate the wear nearly as much as on other guns.
