thanks greylock but yeah i asked around before and there was this "huh" look on the gun smiths face hahaha, also it seems like the internet is the only way i can get wood grips because the gun smith normally says "i use hogue or tape"

yeah i was considering that but im scared that it would be un professional and end up looing weird like layered kinda look, is it easy to do? the nickel plating, or is it something I need to practice and really get a feel for before I can pull off complicated tasks?
