I know some people where asking where to get the adapters. Also using one of the adapters that come with the butane you can refill the butane cans with propain. But you need to make an adapter that will fit on the end of a propain torch. I will post detailed pics later this week when i fined out an easy way to make the adapter. you can also get rilly small butane cans with the same adapter that is used on the green gas cans at Canadian tire and they can be refilled with propane for use in the field. And there easy to carry around in your webbing.

The stuff you bought from Staples is the weak duster. It's the diflorouethane crap, lower pressure than good duster (134a Tetrafloroethane). Check out some of the smaller computer stores, and also Future Shop has Fellowe's, but Best Buy has the same crappy diflouroethane crap that Staples does, just a different name.
To find out what is in the can, look at the warnings/treatment section ont he back of the can, it'll say if it's Di............ crap, Tetra.......... good.
Nick, as far as your question about propane goes, Airsoft Innovations Propane Adaptor is what you need, and while you might spend $40 for one, buying $4 bottles of propane at Canadian Tire will save you the hassles of dealing with green gas (same stuff as propane) while giving you many dozens of mag fills more for a fraction of the pirce per can of green gas. In your TM P226, a few guys up here run their P226s off propane and no problems at all. Use your own judgement for now, answers will always vary on ASC regarding stock guns and propane. Case in point, they tend to say the same thing for any stock GBB, but my stock KSC G19 and stock KSC M11 both have thousands of shots using propane through them, and not a sign of wear, cracks or anything with them. Others will post that their/a friend's stock plastic slide GBB cracked within 100rds.
There you go, all the info you need to make your own decision based upon your use and financial position. And not one flame or condescending remark at all.
