Funnily(if thers such a word), my spelling and grammar totally change wen im writing in pencil or wen i am typing on Word. Dun ask me y, maybe its juz im special =D. hehehe

People will respond in a much more positive manner if you use appropriate English/French. Understanding grammar/spelling, and the applications thereof in a dboard atmosphere does not make one a nerd. Consider the utilization of proper spelling/grammar as a constant advertisement that yes, you are a bright and educated fellow/gal.
