Duster is the stuff that comes in a can and you use to blow dust out out sthings like your key board. Compared to Propane it is not as strong, so the forces on the slide when it cycles are less. Sometimes propane will cause a plastic slide to crack. But I haven't heard of anyone with a cracked slide from using propane on the TM226
