What I mean is that while my gear is all high quality, it's not as "fashionable" as most guys' gear is. Meaning I don't go for a SEALs cool look, or any other type of soldier. I'm me, I am me on the field and don't play pretend (ok, I pretend to kill people).
Ya, retired my 82 webbing and went for my mesh vest and selected pouched based upon what I need to carry, got that sweet BHI drop leg holster and CamelBak, but it's not a fashionable plate carrier (although I think they are damn sweet though), my rig is peiced together for me and no one else. Then again, I am a bit of a different player than most also.
