Is there supposed to be some sort of e clip to keep the mag release together?

once in a whil the bar that the whole unit pivots on slides out of place causing it to slightly fall out of place.

I dont mind pushing it back to place once in a while but I am worried I will forget to check up on it one game and have the whole assembly fall out during game play.

I figure its either some sort of clip or one side of the rod needs to get punched to expand it a bit.
